The Lot Radio

The Lot Radio is an independent online radio station streaming 24/7 from a repurposed shipping container located on an empty lot in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NYC. A really small team runs this platform to give music lovers a place to meet and share their knowledge, both online and IRL.

Poster Series
I used the container’s structure as the foundation, keeping all typography intentionally contained within it to create a sense of order and control. This approach reinforces the idea of a defined system, where content feels structured yet dynamic. I also drew inspiration from the technical side of live broadcasting. By incorporating visible grids throughout, I aimed to evoke that underlying framework, giving the design a subtle, tech-driven feel that references both precision and live digital environments.






Print-Based
Customized receipts are generated through code, dynamically pulling in the schedule from the specific day a user attends. Each receipt is uniquely composed in real time, embedding event data alongside a scannable photo capture that’s processed and printed directly onto the receipt.

Coffee stamps are introduced to attract new customers and encourage repeat visits. 

Seasonal postcards are designed as collectible pieces, released in rotating editions that reflect different moments, themes, or collaborations throughout the year.






Brochure
This brochure is read vertically, unfolding into one continuous panel. One side presents information, while the other functions as a gallery. Created as a special edition, it celebrates 10 years of The Lot Radio.

Website
Using the container and technical system to create a structure with movement. Color-coded titles and contrast enhance navigation and overall user experience. The type was coded to change based on wind speed, time of day, and weather.








Architecture Model
Spatial Design by: LOT-EK
Applied the new identity to the structure of the location within a 3D spatial environment, allowing the visual system to interact with and respond to the architecture. 







Spatial ApplicationsI brought the system into physical space. Grids and typographic hierarchies create orientation while maintaining the visual language’s precision.
